I set a goal this month that was a stretch goal for me.
Run 🏃 100 miles — I called it #RunHundred.
I even nerded out and made a spreadsheet to track my progress. ✔️
Today I crossed the hundred mile mark for the month. I reached my goal.
This watch was my ‘reward’. I’ve had it for a week but couldn’t “possess” it till I crossed the finish line.
The watch is cool, but the real reward was what I learned about me in the process.
- I did more than I thought I could do.
- I worked through pain and frustration.
- I overcame doubt and reluctance.
- I finished what I set out to do.
The watch is now a symbol of a job well done. Best of all, my kids watched the whole thing and celebrated with me.
So my questions for you are:
- What are you running for?
- What will you earn when you get there?
